The Signs of Property (Tamgas) of Khans and Noyons of Aymak «Old Torguts» of the Seim «Unen sudzuktu» in the Period of the Qing Empire (on Oirat «Clear Script»)

Abstract

The article is devoted to the description of property signs (tamgas) of khans and noyons of «Old Torguts» of the seim «Unen sudzuktu» in the Qing Empire. It is talked of tamga of Zoriktukhan, tamga of the head of the council, etc. The author has revealed that «Old Torguts» during the Qing period had such tamgas as 1 tamga of the khan, 4 tamgas of the head of the council and 10 tamgas of the dzasaks — 15 silver tamgas in total.
