About Kalmyk riddles: towards the problem of comparative and typological variability in the folklore of the Mongolian peoples
Abstract
The article is devoted to a comparative and typological study of Kalmyk numerical riddles. To identify the main features of their semantic structure the author uses a broad comparative material presented by Mongolian, Xinjiang Oirat and Buryat variants.
