Oirat Woodcut, Stored in Private Collections Xinjiang China
Abstract
The article is devoted to description of the Oirat block prints that are stored in private collections in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region of China in Oirat families. The author describes the five woodcuts, which are the cultural heritage of Oirats. Woodcut from Oirats are rare, since their production was not common in Oirats.
