The Interconnection of Historical Legends with the Heroic Epos
Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the interconnection of historical legends and the heroic epos. In the content of epic narration elements of the most ancient myths and religious representations have remained. At the same time the basic background for development of an epic genre is the heroic history of the Oirat people which has found reflection in its content.
