About a Poem of Ch. Erentsa “Gyandg Alta Tal”

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the poem “Gyandg Alta tal” of modern Xinjiang poet Chimjan Erentsa, connected with tragical page of history of the Kalmyks — migration of Ubashi Khan with the majority of people. Turned to the early history of the people, the lyric poet expresses hope of finding of new forms of communications between two parts of the people.
