В статье исследуется синтагматика имен прилагательных, обозначающих геометрическую форму объекта, на материале Национального корпуса калмыцкого языка. К именам прилагательным, обозначающим геометрическую форму объекта, в калмыцком языке относятся лексемы, называющие плос­кие фигуры, тела, а также прилагательные, обозначающие свойства и характеристики фигур и тел. В основном прилагательные, обозначающие геометрическую форму, являются заимствованными и не зафиксированы в двуязычных словарях калмыцкого языка, что свидетельствует об их невысокой степени значимости для носителей языка в повседневной языковой деятельности. Большая часть прилагательных, обозначающих геометрическую форму объекта, сочетается с именами, называющими части тела. Некоторые прилагательные (хурц ʻострыйʼ, һо ʻпрямойʼ, матьхр ʻкривойʼ, дөрвлҗн ʻквадратныйʼ) способны к участию в оценочных познавательных процессах.

The article considers the syntagmatics of adjectives denoting geometrical shapes of objects with evidence from Kalmyk National Corpus; the adjectives are the ones that denote planar figures, physical bodies, properties and characteristics of the figures and bodies. The adjectives are largely loan words and have not been introduced into Kalmyk bilingual dictionaries which signifies that those are not that significant for language speakers in their daily communications. Most of the adjectives denoting geometrical shapes of objects combine with words that denote parts of the body. Some of the adjectives (khurts ‘sharp’, gho ‘straight’, mat’khr ‘curved mind’, dörvljn ‘square’) can be used to characterize attitudinal cognitive processes.
