Введение. Статья посвящена краткому обзору развития образования национальных меньшинств в Автономном районе Внутренняя Монголия с 1949 г. по настоящее время. Цель исследования ― выявить основные тенденции развития образования в условиях социально-политических процессов в новейшей истории Китая. Внутренняя Монголия является первой национальной автономией в КНР и имеет историко-политическое и культурно-образовательное значение. Материалы и методы. Работа основана на анализе официальных данных, результатов научных исследований отечественных, китайских и зарубежных ученых. При проведении исследования авторы опирались на системный подход, применялись общенаучные и специальные методы, в том числе проблемно-хронологический, историко-сравнительный, историко-антропологический. Результаты и выводы. Определены основные подходы к реализации национальной политики Коммунистической партии Китая в середине прошлого столетия. Дана краткая характеристика культурно-образовательной ситуации во Внутренней Монголии в середине ХХ в. Выявлены основные изменения в национальной политике после начала периода реформ и открытости. В заключительной части дана характеристика основных параметров развития образования национальных меньшинств в контексте достижения к 2049 г. цели столетия, выдвинутой  Коммунистической партии Китая и Си Цзиньпином. 

Goals. The article aims to give a brief overview of the development of education of national minorities in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from 1949 to the present. The Inner Mongolia is the first national autonomy in the China and has historical, political, cultural and educational significance. Materials and methods. The issue is based on the analysis of official data, the results of scientific research by Russian, Chinese and foreign scholars. In our research, we relied on a systems approach and used general scientific and special methods. For example, problem-chronological, historical-comparative, historical-anthropological methods. Results. The main approaches to the implementation of the national policy of the Communist Party of China in the middle of the 20th century were determined. The authors are given a brief description of the cultural and educational situation in  the Inner Mongolia in the last century. The major changes in national policy since the start of the reform and opening-up period were identified. The final part provides a description of the main parameters for the development of education of national minorities in the context of achieving the centenary goal put forward by the Communist Party of China and Xi Jinping by 2049.
